“The Pitskelly Farm Gate”
Recently, I discovered some new walks behind the High School and on Pitskelly Farm land. The farmer has left a wide verge around the fields which is ideal for walking. I noticed this old gate and the fields behind it and thought it may make a suitable subject for painting and perhaps a wood engraving. After a few drawings and photos I settled on a composition and this is the result below, of another lemonwood engraving.
