‘Wolf Moon’ oil on linen
Over recent years, I have followed up a large watercolour with an oil painting, often an evening version of the watercolour. It is an interesting further development of a composition, requiring more research and often leads to quite a different solution. Not only am I working with other media but usually on a larger scale. I enjoy the challenge of painting a similar composition in another medium.
